For those who enjoy being active in the great outdoors, Rocky Run Park is a wonderful attraction to visit. It’s a two-acre park, but it’s got plenty to do. Shoot some hoops on the basketball court, let the kids play on the two playgrounds, or enjoy lunch in the picnic area.
If you’re a history buff, be sure to stop by the Arlington Line Marker. This marker shows you exactly where the Arlington Line crossed the Georgetown-Falls Church road in 1861. Fort Morton and Fort Woodbury were also nearby, so when you stand here, it’s like taking a step back in time!
